Many times when I
read Jane Austen re.tellings or continuations I set my expectations too
high. I don’t believe I did that with The Bad Miss Bennet Abroad. I thought it would be a fun, exciting
read about Lydia Bennet Wickham’s adventures.
I was sadly disappointed.
The prologue was
interesting and very promising, but after that it fell flat. Maybe I just didn’t read far enough, but I
kept waiting for it to get interesting, but, for me, it never did. This is one book I’d recommend you skip it.
