The entries are separated by days, and not dates, so that you can begin on any day of the year with day one. It has two verses for each day, one for the morning and one for evening, so that you can dwell on the one while you go about your daily tasks, and the other as you fall asleep at night. If you feel the need for a little extra encouragement, go ahead and read a few pages ahead!
This book has beautiful formatting and the pages are beautifully designed, so it would make a great gift for a mother, grandmother or anyone that you feel could use some extra refreshment! (And really, who doesn't need a little more of God's Word?)
If you have read very many of my blog posts, you know that I am KJV only, so my only issue with this book comes from the fact that it uses many different versions of the Bible. I recommend that you keep your Bible close at hand, so that you can always check the verses for accuracy as you read. But overall, I was very pleased with this book, and plan to buy a copy for myself when it is released.
Happy Reading!
Lyndsie
I received an advance copy of this book through NetGalley. All opinions are my own and a favorable review was not required. Look for your copy of Spiritual Refreshment for Women: Morning and Evening at your favorite Christian bookseller on or around August 1.
